Health Law

An introduction to legal research in some of the major aspects of Health Law.

Introduction

As the technology behind medicine, healthcare delivery, and health-related research continue to advance, new and unexpected ethical dilemmas are also raised. The law, in addressing these ethical dilemmas, may serve as a voice for public policy and as the constriction on what health entities may or may not do. The role of law in bioethics may be to provide guidance on the contours of what is ethically acceptable as health-related technologies advance. These materials provide an introduction to the intersection of law and the ethical questions raised by our constantly improving health system.
