Health Law

An introduction to legal research in some of the major aspects of Health Law.

Introduction

Health law is a complex and incredibly broad field of law focused on an industry - health care - rather than a particular aspect of law. It is comprised of the federal, state, and local law, rules, and regulations governing providers, payers, and vendors to the health care industry and its patients. Practitioners in health law work in a variety of fields including in federal, state, and local governments, in legal services organizations, in advocacy nonprofits, in law firms, and as solo practitioners.
