The William A. Wise Law Library and Wolf Law building are open to current CU students, faculty, staff, and recent law graduates studying for the bar using your Buff OneCard. All other users, including bar studiers from other law schools, must make an appointment to use the library's collections and resources. Please review this Access Guide for current policies and procedures for admittance to the Law School and Law Library.
CU Non-Law students, faculty, staff, and recently graduated law students studying for the bar exam with a Buff OneCard may access the Law Library during normal operating hours without an appointment.
CU Affiliates with a current library account may request Library materials for pickup at another CU library via our catalog. For information on pickup locations, see University Libraries.
CU Bar Studiers
CU law graduates who are studying for the bar may access the Law Library with their Buff OneCard during normal operating hours without an appointment.

Bar Studiers from Other Law Schools
We welcome bar studiers from other law schools to enjoy our law library as a quiet place to study. You can find our current hours and any closures on our calendar.
Before Your Visit
Make your appointment: Make your appointment at least twenty-four hours hours in advance. Appointments are for twenty or fifty minutes due to the nature of our system, but you may stay to study as long as we are open.
Confirm your appointment: You should have received a confirmation email with the date and time of the appointment. If you did not receive this email, please contact us at lawref@colorado.edu or call 303-492-7534.
What to Bring: Your appointment confirmation email--you may bring a printout or show us on your electronic device. Your school ID.
When You Arrive: Call the Law Library’s circulation desk at 303-492-7534 when you arrive at the Wolf Law Building main entrance (south entrance). A research librarian will come to let you in. Be prepared to show your appointment confirmation upon entry.
If You Need to Cancel: Cancellations must be made at least one hour in advance via the link in your confirmation email.
Safety & Conduct: All visitors are expected to follow Law Library policies.
Any disruptive behavior may result in termination of the appointment and loss of future access.

Materials may be renewed online and returned via the outdoor book drop outside the Garden Level entrance (east entrance) to the Wolf Law Building off of lot 402.
