Cases

There are a number of ways to locate cases regarding Family Law in Colorado. Colorado state cases are printed in the Pacific Reporter. When searching in print, the index to the Pacific Reporter is a good place to start.

The Family Law Reporter, located at KF 503.4 .B85, is a multi-jurisdictional Reporter that focuses exclusively on Family Law cases.

Users can also find family law cases through legal research databases:

  • Westlaw - In the main search bar start typing "Colorado Family Law" and choose the option "Colorado Family Law: Cases" from the search suggestions.
  • Lexis – Go to the “State” tab, choose “Colorado,” then select “Colorado State Cases, Combined.” This will allow you to use the appropriate keywords to search within Colorado state cases.
