The Wise Law Library offers several databases that provide litigation analytics, which can be used to see all kinds of data points on judges. Use Bloomberg Law and Westlaw for federal courts and some state courts. Use Trellis for most state court litigation analytics.
BLOOMBERG LAW
Go to the Litigation tab on Bloomberg Law and navigate to Litigation Analytics.
WESTLAW
Once signed into Westlaw's main research page, scroll down until you see a box for Litigation Analytics. You can do much of the same research on Westlaw that you can on Bloomberg Law.
TRELLIS
Trellis for judicial analytics for 40+ states' courts.
These sources contain profiles or biographies of judges, including education and employment history. Some also provide evaluations and comments by attorneys who have appeared in the judges' courtrooms.
